Talk N Text, No Anthony Semerad No Problem
Anthony Semerad played a vital role in game 1 of Talk N Text vs Ginebra series to seal the victory for Talk N Text 95-92, he had 17 points and played most of his time defending Brownlee.
Game 2 - Talk N Text controlled the tempo of the game from start to finish. They did not give the Gin Kings any opportunity to gain momentum. The veteran Jason Castro took charge for his team with 20 points as their leading scorer for game 2. Each time Ginebra is threatening to come back, Talk N Text would answer back a 3-pointer, making this series 2-0 in favor of Talk N Text.
Talk N Text is not yet out of the woods, if there is a team that can come back from a 0-2 best of 5 series, that would be Ginebra and the San Miguel Beermen. Talk N Text needs to play much harder for game 3 and close out this series.
Anthony Semerad is doubtful to return in this series due to an AC joint separation on his shoulder but has a higher probability of coming back on the PBA finals if they close out Ginebra.
