McCullough's listed height is 6'9 and only 24 years old. He played in the NBA from 2015 to 2018 - Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards. At 24 years old, he displays so much leadership and maturity. He is good 3 point shooter, also loves driving hard to the basket and he can create plays for himself and his teammates. 

Is he a good fit for Gilas as a naturalized player?

Yes of course! First of all, he showed a desire to volunteer as a naturalized player which is very important. Scoring wise, McCullough is better than Andray Blatche but Andray is better than McCullough as a defensive anchor, Andray is also taller listed at 6'11 but since Andray Blatche is now 32 years old, Gilas must think ahead of time and prepare for this.

Is there a downside for McCullough?  

Yes, unlike Blatche who is a legit Center / Power Forward, McCullough's playing style is more of a Shooting Guard / Small Forward. For McCullough to be an effective player for Gilas he must improve his rebounding. He can also add more weight and muscle without sacrificing his speed and athleticism because without a doubt we need more defensive and offensive rebounding in international games. Is this possible? Yes! he is only 24 years old.
