Carl Bryan Cruz

Strenght
1. He is a steady 3-point / perimeter shooter.
2. likes to hustle on both ends of the floor.
3. Potent scorer.

Needs to Improve
1. Quickness - listed 6'4 in height, Cruz needs to improve his speed and mobility. This is probably why he is having a hard time to get playing time in Alaska. (Too small for a power forward but to slow for a small forward)
2. Athleticism -  Needs to improve his jumping / vertical leap. Cruz is a decent rebounder and defender but to be in the higher level - CBC he must improve on this.

Abu Tratter
Strenght
1. Good rebounder.
2. Althelthic and an offensive threat at the post.
3. 26 years old. He a lot of time for further growth.

Needs to Improve
1. Perimeter shooting
2. Passing skills

Who won the trade?

It is a win-win situation for both teams. Blackwater will benefit from the offensive game of Cruz and Alaska will benefit for the athleticism of Tratter. For Blackwater, they can feel the immediate effect of Cruz - he has proven himself both international and local and he is also relatively young at 28 years old. But there is a slight advantage for Alaska, Tratter has a chance to be the next Marc Pingris and that will certainly be a game-changer for the Alaska franchise.
