Coming from the last conference, Northport has done well enough to achieve a back to back appearance in the 2nd round, but without Bolick, they are forced to rely on the veterans like Mercado but in this certain game, it would take more than experience to overcome the NLEX Road Warriors, instead, Northport must score in bunches to win.
NLEX was like San Miguel this conference - changing/trading players in the middle of the season and risk the change for possible upside. Olu Ashaolu was a fine inside player, helps them on rebounding and as a decent defensive anchor but unlike San Miguel, the gamble of NLEX is paying off as of the moment. But Manny Harris has shown some inconsistencies and weaknesses in his game and that can be the problem along the way if they can advance. But for this battle between NLEX and Northport, there should be no problem for Harris matchup wise he can dominate Northport.
